Practice Experience
Linda L. Ng focuses on investment funds and international tax planning involving Hong Kong, Singapore and other Asian jurisdictions.

Linda advises investment funds and multinationals investing in Asia through Hong Kong or Singapore. Her experience includes advice on tax-efficient structures, joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, and cross-border tax planning and tax controversies. She also advises on regulatory matters concerning licensing fund managers and investment advisory operations in Singapore.

Linda has more than 20 years of experience. She has been ranked as a Leading Individual for Hong Kong Tax by International Tax Review – World Tax 2009. She has been with White & Case (Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo offices) since October 1998. Prior to joining White & Case, she worked at other law firms in Singapore and New York, and she was a tax manager in the Tokyo office of a major international accounting firm.

Linda is qualified as a lawyer in New York, England and Wales, Hong Kong and Singapore. She was registered in Japan as a Gaikokuho Jimu Bengoshi from 1999 through 2008.

Serving as Tax Notes International's Asia-Pacific Columnist (2003 - 2006) and Singapore Correspondent (2000 – present), Linda has published articles on a wide range of topics. She has also published articles in International Tax Review, Practical Asian Tax Strategies, the New York Law Journal, the Canadian Tax Journal and Kokusai Zeimu (International Taxation).
