Practice Experience

Markus Hauptmann advises companies and private equity firms in connection with the legal structuring and implementation of M&A transactions, including management buy-outs and joint venture transactions. Furthermore, he counsels clients on take-overs of listed companies.

Mr. Hauptmann has extensive experience in advising clients on corporate and partner ship law issues, in particular on the preparation and the conducting of general meetings and partnership meetings, squeeze-out proceedings as well as liability issues involving executive and supervisory board members.

Mr. Hauptmann also specializes in advising companies on IPOs and banks and issuers on the defense in actions based on prospectus liability.
