Practice Experience
Matthias Kasch specializes in mergers and acquisitions – domestic and cross-border company acquisitions and disposals, public takeovers, mergers, the establishment of holdings and joint ventures.
Matthias Kasch advises on acquisitions and disposals of branch networks, business units and product portfolios, including all related regulatory aspects in the banking and insurance sector. He also assists clients with restructuring and reorganization projects. In transactional matters, Matthias Kasch advises on all issues arising from a corporate and capital markets law perspective. His clients particularly include banks, insurance companies and financial service providers as well as companies from various business sectors.
Matthias Kasch is a lecturer for business and trade law at the WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management. In addition, he lectures on the subject of "Distressed M&A" at the University of Heidelberg as part of the newly established postgraduate degree program "Legum Magister in corporate restructuring (LL.M. corp. restruc.)".
