Practice Experience
Matthias Kiesewetter's area of practice covers mergers and acquisitions and capital markets law.
He has substantial knowledge in takeover law. Matthias Kiesewetter also gives advice to investment banks and issuers in the course of IPOs and capital increases.
Matthias Kiesewetter joined White & Case in 2006. In 2008, he worked as a secondee in the M&A/Equity Capital Markets section of the legal department of a leading international investment bank in Frankfurt am Main. During his time as a trainee lawyer, he worked for the Takeover Section of the German Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (Bundesanstalt für Finanzdienstleistungsaufsicht; BaFin) as well as for an international law firm in London.
