Meytal McCoy is an associate in the Firm's Antitrust Group, focusing on antitrust litigation matters. Since joining White & Case, Ms. McCoy has been involved in client counseling and defense of clients in investigations by the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and the US Department of Justice Antitrust Division (DOJ), and related civil litigation.

Representative Matters:
  • Pharmaceutical Antitrust Matters
    • Counseled clients on pre-settlement antitrust matters for filings with the FTC and DOJ under the Medicare Modernization Act.
    • Represented clients before FTC investigations of pharmaceutical patent settlements.
    • Represented clients in FTC action and follow-on putative class action suits (In re AndroGel Antitrust Litigation) challenging validity of pharmaceutical patent settlement, including assisting with successful motion to dismiss.
  • Mergers & Acquisitions
    • Managed response to FTC Second Request, including organizing and managing production of documents, which included review of over two million documents, and coordinating production of substantial privilege log.
  • Criminal Antitrust
    • Represented client in multi-year DOJ criminal cartel investigation, including assisting with representation in follow-on civil putative class action litigation.
  • Miscellaneous Antitrust Matters
    • Counseled trade association on various antitrust matters, including assisting with drafting of antitrust compliance policy.
