Oscar is an associate in the London Intellectual Property group. He assists in IP/IT aspects of corporate transactions and IP/IT matters generally.

• Assisting in respect of the acquisition by an Italian commercial foodservice equipment maker of the commercial foodservice equipment and bakery equipment business of a UK based manufacturer;
• Assisting in respect of the proposed acquisition by a European private equity firm of the European fruit ingredients business of an Irish company;
• Assisting in respect of the potential investment by a Chinese insurance company in a Belgian investment management company;
• Assisting in respect of advice given to a UK retailer on defending claims of trade mark infringement and passing off;
• Assisting in respect of advice given to a UK retailer on a potential copyright infringement claim;
• Assisting in respect of advice given to an asset management company on certain trade mark issues relating to the creation of a joint venture fund;
• Assisting in respect of the proposed franchising of a US owned gourmet food retailing operation; and
• Assisting in respect of advice given to a UK based metals trading business on its data retention schedule.
