Charlène Ntsiba is an associate in the Energy, Infrastructure Project and Asset Finance group in the Paris office, specializing in project and asset finance. Charlène's work involves leasing transactions, secured and unsecured syndicated lending, PPP and concession based financing and aircraft & shipping financings.
Before joining White & Case, Charlène was a junior associate in a French law firm, with a particular focus on mining operations, infrastructure and energy project financings in France and Africa.
Representation of the lenders, including international financial institutions International Finance Corporation, European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, DEG, Proparco and Korea Development Bank, and a syndicate of commercial banks including BBVA, SMBC, HSBC, Siemens Bank and Deutsche Bank, on the €550 million financing of an integrated healthcare campus public-private partnership (PPP) in Adana, Turkey, which transaction was awarded "European PPP Deal of the Year" by IJGlobal 2015, "Best PPP Deal of the Year" and "Best social development Deal of the Year" by EMEA Finance 2015.
Representation of CIPREL, an Ivorian independent electricity producer, controlled by Eranove, itself a subsidiary of a pan-African investment fund, Emerging Capital Partners, in relation to the financing of the expansion of its power unit. We are currently advising the company on the fourth phase of the project. This transaction was named Best Sustainability Deal of the Year 2015 in Africa by EMEAFinance.
Representation of the project company formed by Eiffage in connection with the concession, financing, building and operation of a new section of the Dakar toll road to be fund by the Senegalese government, AFD, Eiffage and its lenders.
