Overview

David is an associate in the Firm's London office. His practice spans the tax aspects of a broad range of cross-border transactional and advisory matters. He regularly advises multi-national corporations, private equity houses, financial sponsors and ultra-high net worth individuals on the tax implications of cross-border investments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring, financing and real estate transactions.

David is a member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation and an Affiliate member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.

David advised Novator on its acquisition of a 92 per cent stake in Nextel Chile S.A, the fourth largest telecommunications provider in Chile.

Play Topco S.A

David advised Play Topco S.A., indirect shareholder of Polish mobile telecoms operator P4 Sp. z o.o., on its €415 million senior PIK toggle notes offering.

Saudi Aramco

David advised Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Saudi Aramco) on its landmark US$10 billion revolving credit facilities.

Alpha Trains

David advised European rolling stock operating lessor Alpha Trains on the establishment of an investment grade €1.25bn common terms financing platform and the issuance of €350m 10 year bonds (expected maturity date) listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, the raising of secured bank financing (€525m) and a senior (€250m) and junior (€125m) private placement offering.

Zimmer Holdings

David advised Zimmer Holdings, Inc., a world leader in musculoskeletal health solutions, on its acquisition of Biomet, Inc., one of the world's leading medical device manufacturers, for an aggregate consideration of US$13.35 billion.
