David Strelzyk-Herzog coordinates the work of lawyers within the White & Case Regulatory and Government Affairs Group. This Group advises the Firm's clients on the increasing scope and complexity of government regulations affecting business across the globe.
David works on a wide range of matters, particularly in the following areas: Environment, Consumer Protection, Information Technology, Communications and Media, Energy, Pharmaceuticals and Financial Services. In addition, he has significant knowledge of topics with an international or a transatlantic dimension such as Climate Change. He has more than 10 years of experience focusing on French and EU regulatory matters before he started working with lawyers outside the EU to respond to the needs of our global clients.
David coordinates client strategies and support across multiple international markets and industries – from product entry into new markets to multi-jurisdictional regulatory audits and product recalls. David has in particular managed product launches across Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Africa and Latin America, working with lawyers across the Firm and beyond. Thanks to our extended global network, which enables us to assist companies virtually anywhere in the world, David provides clients with a single point of contact to seamlessly coordinate complex projects across multiple time zones and legal environments. His extensive experience working on a daily basis with both legal and business teams allows him to quickly apprehend new products and ensure our clients’ business concerns are immediately understood by our lawyers.
Prior to joining White & Case, he was a legislative advisor to the Chief Whip of the largest political group in the European Parliament, a position in which he was involved in discussions on a broad range of issues and which provided him with a unique understanding of the EU law-making process.
White & Case is a global law firm with longstanding offices in the markets that matter today. David works regularly in its Silicon Valley, Paris and Brussels offices, where the Firm's clients benefit from his insight into legislative and regulatory issues.
