Franck Peter advises both French and international clients on all matters relating to construction and real estate law.

His range of clients includes construction companies, real estate developers, private and institutional investors, investment funds and corporate clients. Over a number of years, Franck has built up substantial experience and knowledge across the different domains of real estate law, in areas which are often highly specialized.

Franck frequently advises clients on development transactions and the transfer of different types of property assets. These include offices, hotels and resorts, shopping centers, industrial premises and residential properties. Frank has recently participated in the structuring and the implementation of several major French and European transactions involving the transfer and outsourcing of property assets.

He is regularly called upon to act for clients at different stages of property-related transactions. His experience extends to the acquisition of land and buildings, the development and construction of all types of real estate projects and the leasing and disposal of real estate assets.

Office building acquisition, 2015

Advising Crédit Agricole Assurances in connection with the acquisition of an office building owned by Wereldhave.

Acquisition of Alliance Hotel Group, 2015

Advising LFPI on the acquisition of Alliance Hotel Group from Lone Star. The group comprises twelve hotels, positioned as three and four star offerings, located in Greater Paris as well as key regional cities. With these additional 1,913 rooms, the LFPI Group is able to grow its hotel investment portfolio.

Sale of office property in Greater Paris, 2015

Advising AEW Europe, as asset manager and Curzon Capital as owner in connection with the sale of an office property  located in Greater Paris, to a joint-venture including Inovalis Real Estate Investment Trust and the Korean fund IGIS, for an all-in-cost of approximately €90 million.

Sale of 10 shopping malls, 2015

Advising CBRE in connection with the €1,3 billion sale of ten commercial centers in France and in Belgium, previously owned by CBRE Retail Property Fund France Belgium (RPFFB), to a consortium comprising China Investment Corporation and AEW.

Sale of Paris Arcueil Real Estate Co, 2015

Advising Marriott International, Inc., the listed US-based company that operates, franchises, and licenses hotels and corporate housing properties worldwide in connection with the sale of Paris Arcueil Real Estate Co SAS, the France-based operator of public hotels and motels (owning a hotel in Arcueil -outskirts of Paris) to Green Spring Group, the France-based investment holding company having interest in companies engaged in operating public hotels and motels.

Sale of Groupe du Louvre and Louvre Hotels Group, 2014

Advising Starwood Capital Group in connection with a legal vendor due diligence as part of the  €1.3 billion sale of Groupe du Louvre and Louvre Hotels Group to Shanghai Jin Jiang International Hotels Development Co., Ltd.

Acquisition of European Real Estate Developer, 2014

Advising French private investors in connection with the acquisition of CODIC International owned by Compagnie Du Bois Sauvage SA, Finaxer SA, Rebelco SA, Mobilière et Immobilière Du Centre SA and Espace & Management.

Sale of the SFR headquarters, 2011–2014

Advising VINCI Immobilier in connection with the construction, the development and the sale of the SFR headquarters. The project, consisting of four buildings, comprises a total area of 133,000m2 near the Stade de France in Saint-Denis.

Sale of 26 budget hotels, 2014

Advising Foncière LFPI REIM and LFPI on the sale of 26 hotels to Swiss Life REIM. These hotels are mostly operated by the Louvre Hôtels group, the second largest hotel group in Europe, and the owner of hotel brands such as Campanile, Première Classe and Kyriad.

Setting up of a real estate investment fund, 2014

Advising six French institutional investors in connection with the setting up of the most important French real estate investment fund dedicated to residential assets, Fonds de logement intermédiaire (FLI). We represented CNP, Cardif (subsidiary of BNP Paribas), Malakoff Médéric, Aviva Investors, ERAFP and SMABTP.
