George Gray is an associate in the Firm's private equity practice and is based in the London office. He advises private equity institutions, investors, management teams and corporates on a wide range of corporate matters, including domestic, cross-border and global mergers and acquisitions, equity capital markets transactions and restructuring and general corporate governance matters. Prior to joining the Firm, George worked in the London office of another international law firm.
George advised a consortium comprising Allianz Capital Partners, Borealis Infrastructure, Infinity Investments SA and Munich RE on their acquisition of Autobahn Tank & Rast GmbH.
George advised HgCapital and certain of its portfolio companies on a number of mandates.
George advised HgCapital on its sale of the core Scandinavian business of e-conomic, to Visma.
George advised Chemtura Corporation in relation to the divestment of its global agrochemicals business to Platform Specialty Products Corporation, for a purchase price of approximately $1 billion.
George advised a US private equity tech specialist on the acquisition of three software businesses (with operations in the UK, Africa, the Nordics, West Europe and the United States) for an aggregate purchase price of over £200 million.
