Laleh is an associate in our Energy, Infrastructure and Project Finance Group based in the UAE. Prior to joining the Firm in the UAE, Laleh spent more than five years practicing in our London and Paris offices. She has also practiced in the Singapore office of another leading international law firm, working on project finance transactions across east Asia. She has experience in a wide variety of project finance and development transactions in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia, with a focus on the energy, oil & gas and renewables sector.
Representation of International Finance Corporation (IFC), OPEC Fund for International Development (OFID), Finn Fund and other development financial institutions on the project financing of a series of solar power projects in Jordan, comprising a majority of the Round 1 solar power programme in Jordan.
Representation of Asian Development Bank (ADB), Korea Development Bank, Islamic Development Bank and the commercial lenders on the multi-sourced financing of LUKOIL’s Khauzak-Shady upstream gas development project in Uzbekistan, involving political risk cover from two multilateral institutions.
Representation of the European Investment Bank (EIB), the Norwegian government, BNP Paribas Fortis, KfW Ipex Bank, PensionDanmark, Eksport Kredit Fonden, GIEK, the Office National Du Ducroire/Nationale Delcrederedienst and other financial institutions on the project financing of Northwind Offshore Energy's wind project in the North Sea.
