Melinda Baglio is an associate in the Energy, Infrastructure, Project and Asset Financing section in the New York Office of White & Case. She concentrates on domestic and international project finance transactions and has represented developers and financing parties in connection with construction and term loans, sale/leasebacks and bond financings in the oil and gas, power and renewal energy sectors.
In addition to other transactions, she was part of the White & Case team that recently advised Total S.A. in connection with the development, construction and financing of the 70 megawatt (MW) Salvador solar photovoltaic power project in the Atacama desert region of Chile, the world's largest merchant solar project.
Representation of Freeport LNG with respect to its multi-train natural gas liquefaction facility to be co-located with its existing regasification facility at Quintanas Island in Texas.
Representation of KEXIM and The Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ, Ltd., Mizuho Bank, Ltd., Natixis, New York Branch, and Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation as mandated lead arrangers and lenders in connection with the approximately US$700 million project financing of an up to 517 MW combined-cycle power plant, Kelar, located in the province of Antofagasta, Chile.
