Overview

Michael Gentili is an associate in the Firm's Bank Finance Group. Michael has experience advising banks, alternative capital providers and corporate borrowers in complex domestic and international transactions, especially within leveraged finance and real estate transactions. His range of experience also includes involvement in capital markets and financial restructuring transactions.

Michael's recent experience at White & Case includes finance transactions for, among others, Nordic Capital, Altor Equity Partners, Accent Equity Partners, Nordea Bank AB (publ) and DNB Bank ASA, Sweden Branch.

Michael has also worked as secondee legal counsel at the investment banking division of Nordea Bank AB (publ).

Representative transactions for lenders include acting for:

Nordea Bank AB (publ), Danske Bank A/S and DNB Bank ASA, Sweden Branch in connection with a set of financing arrangements provided in relation to the initial public offering of Thule Group AB (publ) in connection with its listing on Nasdaq Stockholm, a company owned by Nordic Capital Fund VI and Fund VII.

Nordea Bank AB (publ) in connection with the financing of Accent Equity 2012's acquisition of San Sac and EnviroPac, and its subsequent add-on acquisition of TOMRA Compaction.

Nordea Bank Norge ASA as to Swedish law in connection with the financing of the acquisition by Triton Manager IV Limited of Scandinavian Business Seating.

China Development Bank Corporation in connection with the EUR 922 million term loan facility refinancing of, as well as in connection with the USD 800 million term loan facility provided to, Volvo Personvagnar AB.

Representative transactions for sponsors and borrowers include:

Inter IKEA Investments AB in connection with the financing of the acquisition of the Office Management group.

Accent Equity 2012 in connection with the financing of the acquisition of the S:t Erik's group and financing arrangements in connection with the acquisitions of the Cervera group and the Akademibokhandeln/Bokus group.

Nordic Capital Fund VI in connection with the disposal of the Nefab group.

Nordic Capital Fund VI in connection with the partial disposal of CPS Color's colorant division to Chromaflo Technologies and in relation to the financing of Corob (formerly CPS Color's equipment business).

Altor Fund II in connection with the disposal of the Åkers group.

Altor Fund III in connection with the financing of the acquisition of the Ålö group.
