Overview

Ori is an associate in the Project Development and Finance group of White & Case in Paris.

His area of expertise covers French public law and international projects, with a focus on public contracts for infrastructure projects in France, both in terms of advice and litigation.

Ori also works on regulatory matters, in particular in the energy, transportation, electronic communications, public health and gaming & gambling sectors, and has also experience in specific areas such as environmental law and foreign investment regulations.

Before joining White & Case, Ori worked for several international law firms, a global leader in the construction and maintenance of transport infrastructure, a NGO and a public sector hospital.

Experience

His experiences notably include:

  • Representation of a consortium led by Macquarie Asset Management, together with British Columbia Investment Management Corporation and MEAG (the asset manager of Munich Re and Ergo), on the consortium's acquisition of Reden Solar, a French-based developer, financer, builder and operator of solar power plants across Europe and Latin America, from InfraVia Capital Partners and Eurazeo for an enterprise value of €2.5 billion.
  • Representation of industrial companies, investment funds and leading private equity firms in connection with the acquisition and sale of interests in companies operating infrastructure projects or providing services in regulated sectors (transportation, energy, electronic communications, healthcare and childcare services, etc.)*;
  • Representation of a former public sector entity in the context of its privatization and IPO, the redefinition of the regulatory framework applicable to the gaming sector under exclusive rights, as well as its relations with the French State*; and
  • Representation of a public sector entity in the organization of the competitive bidding process and related award of a custody delegation and related services public procurement contract.*
