Overview

Raghad is an associate at White & Case in Riyadh. She supports the Corporate and Capital Markets practices and has prior experience advising major domestic Saudi and international companies in connection with joint ventures, corporate structuring, governance, IPOs, M&A, and restructuring.

Raghad joined the Riyadh office of White & Case in 2022, prior to which, she worked for a Magic Circle firm in its Riyadh office, followed by experience at a major international firm where she was the first female lawyer on the team. Additionally, Raghad has previously volunteered as a pro bono associate for the Consumer Protection Unit, a part of the Volunteer Lawyers Project of the Boston Bar Association.

Recent experience includes advising:

  • Saudi Aramco on the US$1.3 billion IPO of its subsidiary, Saudi Aramco Base Oil Company (Luberef) on the Main Market of the Saudi Stock Exchange.
  • Partial acquisition of 30% stake in Tamimi Markets chain by the Public Investment Fund.
  • Represented Goldman Sachs, SNB Capital, JP Morgan and EFG Hermes as joint financial advisors, bookrunners and underwriters in the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of ADES International Holding;
  • Riyadh Cables Group on its US$378 million IPO on the Main Market of the Saudi Stock Exchange.
  • Representation of Saudi Fransi and JP Morgan Saudi Arabia Limited as joint financial advisors, joint bookrunners and joint underwriters and Al Rajhi Capital Company as joint bookrunner and joint underwriter and on the initial public offering of Jamjoom Pharmaceuticals Factory Company on the Saudi Stock Exchange. With a market capitalization of US$1.12 billion at listing, the offering represents the largest IPO in Saudi Arabia for 2023 to date.
  • Drafted prospectuses for IPO of non-listed companies and rights issue transactions for companies listed on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul).*
  • Conducted and drafted full-fledged legal due diligence reports for general corporate deals and capital markets transactions, including public mergers and acquisitions and IPOs.*
  • Negotiated a merger agreement of a public M&A deal of two mega companies in the insurance industry.*
