Ronan is an associate in the Firm's Dispute Resolution group in London. His practice involves both commercial litigation and international arbitration and covers a variety of sectors including energy, telecommunications, and financial services.
He has a background in public international law and has experience acting for States and state owned entities, particularly in relation to sovereign immunity.
He also regularly advises clients on conflict of laws issues and assists with the drafting of dispute resolution clauses.
He spent 6 months in the Paris office in the International Arbitration department during his training contract.
Ronan is committed to pro-bono work and has recently worked with an NGO to provide advice to the Government of South Sudan in connection with information-sharing practices between hybrid tribunals and transitional justice mechanisms.

Acting for a European energy provider in an arbitration concerning the construction and design of a nuclear power plant.
Acting for a US-based hedge fund in relation to a dispute concerning the termination of ISDA Master Agreements.
Obtaining urgent Norwich Pharmacal relief and confidentiality orders for an energy company in connection with its investigation into a sophisticated cyber-attack on its IT systems.
Acting for a specialist sub-contractor in litigation before the Technology and Construction Court concerning a dispute over the construction of a government building.
