Overview

Vatsala Sahay is an associate in White & Case’s New York office. Her practice focuses on commercial litigation in federal and state courts, including complex business disputes, contract actions, and merger litigation. Vatsala advises clients across a range of industries, including the healthcare, hospitality, and financial services sector.

Vatsala is an active member of the Firm’s pro bono practice, particularly focusing on criminal justice and sentencing cases. She recently represented an individual in a juvenile resentencing case before the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas, whose sentence was reduced to a minimum term of 20 years from an original sentence of life imprisonment without parole.

Before joining White & Case, Vatsala worked in law firms in Mumbai, India, advising on mergers and acquisitions, merger control, and commercial litigation matters.
