Experience

IFC on its US$25 million Series C preferred share investment in Shenzhen Zhaoheng Hydropower's offshore holding company and US$50 million of A loans to its onshore subsidiaries to finance the construction and operation of small-to-medium hydropower plants in China. IFC's investment is part of an aggregate US$300 million private equity investment by, among others, Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, FountainVest Partners and Olympus Capital Holdings Asia, the largest private investment made in the renewable energy and hydropower sectors in China to date. This transaction won the "2013 Asia Hydro Deal of the Year" by Project Finance magazine.

Haier in its acquisition of a portion of Sanyo's consumer electronic appliance businesses, including relevant intellectual property, work force, IT systems and distribution channels.

IFC on a proposed US$15 million PIPE investment in HKSE-listed Century Sunshine Group Holdings Limited and US$25 million A Loan to Baishan City Tian'an Magnesium Resources, a Chinese operating subsidiary of the Century Sunshine Group Holdings Limited.

Representation of Saudi Aramco in its proposed joint venture with PetroChina to acquire from PetroChina and operate a new 260,000-barrel-per-day grass-roots, full conversion refinery at Kunming in China's Yunnan Province.

Representation of Louis Dreyfus Highbridge Energy LLC in its joint venture with Zhejiang Zhong Ao Energy to construct an oil and petrochemical import/export terminal and storage facility in Zhoushan City, Liuheng Island, off the coast of Shanghai.
