Practice Experience
Mr. Eyers is a member of the Firm’s Global Competition and Commercial Litigation Groups. His practice focuses on international antitrust litigation.
Mr. Eyers has experience advising clients in a wide range of antitrust law areas including price fixing, vertical restraints, merger clearance, monopolization and resale price maintenance. He has represented clients in the sports, shipping, energy, consumer electronics, highway safety, chemicals, telecommunications and financial services industries. In addition to his antitrust experience, Mr. Eyers has also advised clients with respect to intellectual property and general commercial litigation issues.
His significant recent experience includes:
- Defending a major Japanese electronics conglomerate before the U.S. Department of Justice in a criminal price-fixing investigation, and in related civil lawsuits in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California and other courts;
- Advising a leading industrial chemical company in connection with an antitrust investigation conducted by the U.S. Federal Trade Commission;
- Defending a global shipping company in a criminal antitrust action brought by the U.S. Department of Justice;
- Representing low-income women pro bono in family law matters before the New York Supreme Court and New York Family Courts;
- Arguing a criminal appeal pro bono before a five judge panel of the New York Supreme Court Appellate Division.
