Practice Experience

Rodney de Souza is an associate in the Firm's Banking & Capital Markets group, specializing in cross–border acquisition finance. He acts for international banks and borrowers on a range of corporate finance transactions involving English law, New York law or French law.

Rodney joined the firm as an associate in 2007, prior to which he was awarded the first prize of the White & Case Business Law Scholarship in 2006.

Before joining the firm, Rodney worked as an intern in the London, Paris and Beijing offices of leading international law firms.

Examples of recent representations include:

Acting for a Kazakhstan limited liability partnership on its USD 550,000,000 financing from a syndicate of international and Kazakh lenders.
