Practice Experience
Rodrigo Orozco Waters has broad experience in representing clients (mostly US and European corporations) in M&A transactions and negotiations with Mexican counterparts and government officials. He has lobbied on behalf of clients in the Finance, Telecommunications and Transport Ministries. He also advises clients regarding project financing and foreign investment transactions in the environmental, telecommunications and manufacturing sectors. He participates in corporate and project financing transactions, and recommends alternative structures for joint ventures in the telecommunications, securities, insurance and banking sectors; and conducts and coordinates research on security structures for US and European clients interested in the Latin American financial market.
Mr. Orozco has advised states and boroughs on the issuance of debt instruments (certificados bursátiles) in the Mexican Stock Exchange. He also has extensive experience in banking and insurance transactions.
