Practice Experience
Richard Reilly is a member of the Firm's Investment Funds Practice and global co-head of its Securitization Group.
Rich has an extensive securities practice focusing on investment fund formation in the United States and Europe. In the investment funds area he represents credit-oriented hedge funds and private equity style funds. He also regularly represents placement agents.
Rich also has significant securitization, structured finance and derivatives transaction experience and was the founding member of the firm's London structured finance practice . In the asset securitization area, he has represented issuers, arrangers, credit enhancement providers and servicers in a broad range of asset classes including CMBS, RMBS, credit cards, trade receivables, asset-backed commercial paper and catastrophe bonds. In addition, Mr. Reilly has extensive experience with cash and synthetic CDOs and CLOs.
He regularly represents a number of financial institutions in the United States and Europe including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and JP Morgan, in addition to a variety of investment fund managers, including Babson Capital Europe and Indicus Advisors.
