Rebecca joined the Dispute Resolution group in London in 2001. Her work focuses on regulatory issues affecting financial institutions and disputes within the financial services sector.
Rebecca was seconded to the Enforcement Division of the Financial Services Authority from April 2006 to October 2007 and has returned to White & Case with excellent first hand experience of enforcement matters from the regulator's perspective and particular expertise in regulatory investigations and disciplinary actions. She has in-depth knowledge of the UK financial services regulatory regime and the rules and procedures under which the FSA operates. Her recent regulatory experience includes:
Rebecca has broad experience of banking litigation and contentious insolvency matters. She has acted for major financial institutions on large and complex matters, often involving several jurisdictions. She has conducted litigation in the Courts in Hong Kong, New York, the British Virgin Islands and the Turks & Caicos Islands.
