Practice Experience

Robert Vydra is an associate our Riyadh office specializing in capital markets, finance, corporate transactional and greenfield projects work, usually involving cross-border aspects and multinational clients. Prior to joining White & Case, Mr. Vydra worked and trained at major international law firms in New York, Paris and Prague.

Rights issue of 111,111,111 shares by National Industrialization Company (TASNEE), with an aggregate value of SAR 2 billion, representing Calyon Saudi Fransi Limited and Riyad Capital (acting as the underwriters);
Rights issue of 875,000,000 shares by Riyad Bank, with an aggregate value of SAR 13.125 billion, representing NCB Capital Company, Samba Capital and Investment Management Company, Morgan Stanley Saudi Arabia, Alistithmar Capital and HSBC Saudi Arabia Limited (acting as the underwriters);
Initial public offering of 6,750,000 shares of Abdullah Al-Othaim Markets Company by certain of its shareholders, with an aggregate value of SAR 270 million, representing GIB Financial Services Limited and Falcom Financial Services (acting as the underwriters);
Exempt offer of 100,000,000 shares in Etihad Etisalat Company (Mobily) by its founding shareholders, representing the founding shareholders;
Initial public offering of 1,050,000,000 shares of Inmaa Bank, with an aggregate value of SAR 10.5 billion, representing the issuer;
Initial public offering of 219,000,000 shares of Rabigh Refining & Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh), with an aggregate value of SAR 4.599 billion, representing the issuer;
Initial public offering of 59,454,000 shares in Dar Al-Arkan Real Estate Company, with an aggregate value of SAR 3.329 billion, representing the issuer.
Public offering of 19,533,663 ordinary shares of one of the leading used vehicle retailers and vehicle-oriented financial services intermediaries in the CEE, including listing on both the Prague and Budapest Stock Exchanges, representing the issuer.
Public offering of 3,400,000 shares of cumulative redeemable preferred stock by one of the leaders in the retail and entertainment-oriented shopping center industry, representing the underwriter;
Private offering of 2,800,000 shares of convertible cumulative preferred stock by one of the largest self-storage companies, representing the purchasers;
Public offering of 4,000,000 shares of common stock by one of the leaders in the retail and entertainment-oriented shopping center industry, representing the underwriter;
Initial public offering of 12,000,000 shares of common stock by a leading provider of drug development services, representing the issuer; and
Public offering of 4,000,000 shares of common stock by a closed-end management investment company, representing the underwriters.

Debt:

€1,000,000,000 notes issued under the Slovak Republic’s €2,000,000,000 EMTN Programme and subsequent update of the EMTN Programme, representing Morgan Stanley as manager.
Issue of US$200,000,000 9% Loan Participation Notes by Bank of Georgia through BG Finance B.V., with listing on the London Stock Exchange, representing Merrill Lynch as lead manager.
Public offering of US$175,000,000 of senior notes by one of the largest real estate companies, representing the underwriters;
Public offering of US$150,000,000 of senior notes by one of the largest real estate companies, representing the underwriters; and
Private offering of various categories of debt notes by an investment company, representing the issuer.
