Practice Experience
Thomas Schmidt deals with domestic and international corporate tax issues, with particular emphasis on structuring public and private company acquisitions, corporate reorganizations as well as corporate financing transactions.

Thomas Schmidt also advises on tax issues relating to real estate, banking and structured finance transactions and has acted for domestic and overseas lenders and borrowers in domestic and cross border transactions. His experience covers international tax planning for companies as well as private clients.

Thomas Schmidt lectures international tax law at the Wiesbaden Business School. He is a member of the international White & Case REITs Group.
