Lieven Van Parys advises clients on European and Belgian law.

His main areas of European practice include EC competition law and a wide range of issues arising from general EU law. Lieven Van Parys has advised clients in connection with cartel investigations, vertical agreements, abuses of dominance and merger notifications. He also has experience in EU regulatory and public procurement law matters.

His Belgian practice focuses mainly on Belgian competition, corporate and commercial law, including litigation.

Prior to joining White & Case, Lieven Van Parys was an intern at the European Parliament in Strasbourg (2003), and worked at the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Competition (2006), dealing with competition law matters in the sector of consumer goods and foodstuffs. He joined White & Case in 2006.
