Practice Experience

Yu Tong manages advisory services on trade and investment to sovereign and private clients in China. She tracks China's trade and investment policy developments and provides comprehensive advisory reports on investment strategies, free trade agreement-related developments and WTO issues.

Prior to joining White & Case, Yu worked as a program officer in China's Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM), responsible for international development relations and governmental cooperation with UN agencies and civil communities. She also previously worked as a Transfer Pricing advisor with KPMG Beijing.

Yu studied public policy on trade and finance at the University of Maryland, in the US during 2002-2004. During this time, she also worked as an intern at the US Coalition of Service Industry (CSI) and the Corporate Finance Department of World Bank in Washington, DC.
