As Europe's most populous country and largest economy, Germany is at the heart of the region's evolving landscape of business and trade. White & Case's six offices in Germany provide a broad range of legal services to clients seeking success within the country - and throughout the region and the world.
With over 30 distinguished lawyers, our Berlin office has built a strong reputation in such areas as administrative and constitutional law, real estate and construction, corporate, mergers & acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, labor, tax, insurance, information technology and media, as well as restitution law.
Recognizing the increasing importance of the capital city of Berlin, and anticipating its further economic development, the law firm of Feddersen Laule Scherzberg & Ohle Hansen Ewerwahn merged with the long-established Berlin law firm of Finkelnburg & Clemm in 1999. This created one of the largest law practices in the city, a formidable client resource further strengthened when the firm later became part of White & Case’s global network.
Our team based in Berlin works closely with our other offices in Germany — Düsseldorf, Dresden, Frankfurt, Hamburg and Munich. Our lawyers in Germany are part of an integrated team of legal professionals that spans 25 countries. Together we bring global breadth and local depth to bear on our clients’ most exciting opportunities and difficult challenges.
