Overview

Diego Mora-Jensen joined the Firm in the Mexico City office in 2014. His area of expertise is commercial, financial, bankruptcy and civil litigation. He also has broad knowledge and experience in amparo trials with an emphasis on commercial, financial, bankruptcy and civil law.

Diego is one of the best-known litigation lawyers in Mexico specializing in civil, commercial and financial matters, including bankruptcy proceedings. He is frequently chosen to advise private financial institutions, and also Government authorities and national banks in the public sector.

In addition to commercial and financial aspects, Diego has developed a strong practice defending clients in tort and strict liability in high complex and novel cases.

He has also participated with great success in different corporate disputes, both for the claim of responsibilities of managers, as well as disputes between shareholders.

Diego has extensive bankruptcy and insolvency litigation experience, having advised most of the relevant creditors in high-stakes insolvency proceedings in Mexico.
