Overview

Jacob Schtevie is a partner in the Debt Finance practice based in the Firm's Chicago office. He represents a variety of banks and other debt investors in connection with leveraged finance transactions, with an emphasis on sponsor-backed LBOs and recapitalizations. 

Clients rely on Jake for his market knowledge and expertise in the negotiation and documentation of various credit facility structures, including senior secured, unsecured, first lien/second lien, senior stretch, unitranche, recurring revenue financings and mezzanine debt investments.With a strong track record in the middle market space, Jake is well versed in the prevailing terms, nuances and challenges that clients may encounter. His commercial approach and extensive experience upholds his credibility with both lenders and sponsors across many industries and sectors.
