Overview

Jonas is a member of the EMEA Private Equity team in the Firm's Global M&A practice. His practice focuses on advising private equity firms, other financial sponsors and portfolio companies on equity investments, acquisitions and divestitures, as well as on management participation and co-investment plans.

Jonas joined White & Case in 2018. Prior to joining White & Case, Jonas practiced at a Swedish top tier law firm since 2011.

Experience

  • Representation of Cary Group, a leading vehicle glass repair and replacement provider offering sustainable car care solutions in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, UK and Spain and a portfolio company of Nordic Capital, on the launch of its initial public offering (IPO) on Nasdaq Stockholm.
  • Representation of Summa Equity AB, a private equity firm specializing in investments in companies that help solve global challenges, on:
    • its acquisition of Axion BioSystems, a US life science tools business and leading provider specializing in the development, production, and marketing of MEA (Microelectrode Arrays) and impedance technologies;
    • its acquisition of myneva, one of the leading European software providers for the social care sector helping to digitize workflows and supports the increasing convergence of client needs across the elderly, disabled, social and youth care segments;
    • its acquisition of Olink Proteomics Holding AB, a Sweden-based company that develops bioscience solutions, and the US$233 million registered follow-on offering and US$353 million IPO and listing on Nasdaq of American Depositary Shares by Olink Holding AB. Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, SVB Leerink and BTIG, LLC acted as underwriters in the follow-on offering and the IPO.
  • Representation of Altor, a family of private equity funds focused on investing in and developing medium sized companies, on:
    • the MEUR 275 divestment of Ålö, the global market leader in front loaders and associated implements for agricultural tractors, to Jost Werke;
    • the acquisition of Gummigrossen and RengasDuo, the market leading tire and tire related wholesalers in Sweden and Finland respectively.
  • Representation of a consortium consisting of Altor, a private equity firm focused on investing in and developing medium sized companies, Strawberry Equities (Petter Stordalen), a group of companies investing mainly in real estate, finance, hotel operations and art, and TDR, a private equity firm, on the acquisition of the business of Thomas Cook Northern Europe (Vinggruppen; to be re-branded to Nordic Leisure Travel Group).
  • Representation of Nordic Capital, a leading private equity firm in the Nordic region, on the acquisition of iLOQ from Sievi Capital and other shareholders. iLOQ is a leading provider of self-powered digital and mobile locking systems which transform the way access to buildings is handled into a highly secure, functional and sustainable system, founded in 2003 and based in Oulu, Finland, with local branches in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, France and Spain.
  • Representation of Nordic Capital, a leading private equity firm in the Nordic region, on the combination of credit management services providers Lindorff, the Oslo-headquartered European debt collecting company, and Intrum, a Sweden-based credit management services company.*
  • Representation of a consortium led by Borealis Infrastructure Management and also including AP1, AP3 and Folksam on the acquisition of Fortum's Swedish electricity distribution business (Ellevio).*
