Biography

Jordan is a tax associate in the Firm's Washington, DC office. His practice primarily involves advising sponsors, developers, investors, and lenders on tax benefit qualifications, monetization strategies, and related financings for energy projects including solar, wind, energy storage, advanced manufacturing, carbon capture sequestration and utilization, clean hydrogen production, and fuel production.  Jordan also advises on traditional tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions and capital investments in the energy industry.

Experience

Representative matters include:

A fund manager in multiple syndicated tax equity financings for utility-scale, C&I, and residential solar assets with various upper-tier investors.

A developer on the tax equity financing for a 720 MWac PV/225MWh battery storage project in Brazoria County, Texas, which is the largest solar farm in the US and the first tax equity facility to integrate both investment tax credits and production tax credits.

A developer in securing tax equity financing for its 66MWac PV/198MWh solar and battery storage project in South Carolina.

A developer in the tax equity financing of a portfolio of community solar projects located across several states.

A large US institutional entity in the purchase of an estimated US$300 million of production tax credits over 10 years from a 400 MW solar project in Texas.
