Biography

Overview

Litian is an associate in the Debt Finance practice in the Firm's Houston office.

His practice focuses primarily on corporate finance transactions, including debt restructurings, reserve-based lending, direct lending and cross-border financings where he advises clients from a broad range of industries, including energy and infrastructure, high-tech and telecommunication, on all aspects of the transactions and financing life cycle.

Prior to joining White & Case, Litian was an associate in the Houston office of another leading global law firm. Prior to private practice, Litian worked in international commodity trading.

Litian graduated cum laude from University of Texas Law School where he served as the president of the Asian Law Student Association.

Representation of an informal committee of unaffiliated holders in relation to the restructuring of Weatherford International Plc's US$7.4 billion senior unsecured notes and approximate US$1 billion of funded debt in connection with the US$1.5 billion Debtor-in-Possession financing and the US$645 million Exit Financing.*
