Maria Cristina Storchi is an Italian qualified lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in the areas of corporate and M&A, capital markets, private equity and restructuring and. Her practice focuses on public and private M&A, public tender offers, exchange offers, capital markets matters and general corporate representation, privatizations and restructurings. She has considerable experience advising listed companies on large Italian and cross-border M&A and restructuring transactions.

Maria Cristina advised Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. and the other financial creditors in connection with the €700 million restructuring of Sirti S.p.A., a company specialized in the design, construction and maintenance of large telecommunication networks.

Gemmo's restructuring, 2020
Maria Cristina advised Gemmo S.p.A. in connection with the restructuring and refinancing of its financial indebtedness.

Biancamano's restructuring, 2020
Maria Cristina advised a pool of banks in connection with the restructuring of Biancamano S.p.A., a company listed on the Italian Stock Exchange operating in the environmental hygiene sector and the pre insolvency agreement entered into by its wholly owned subsidiary Aimeri Ambiente S.r.l. and the related acquisition by the banks of €200 million of quasi-equity instruments issued by Biancamano S.p.A.
