Overview

Maria Cristina Storchi is an Italian qualified lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in the areas of corporate and M&A, capital markets, private equity and restructuring and. Her practice focuses on public and private M&A, public tender offers, exchange offers, capital markets matters and general corporate representation, privatizations and restructurings. She has considerable experience advising listed companies on large Italian and cross-border M&A and restructuring transactions.

Maria Cristina advised Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. in connection with a €6 billion project launched by Italian listed company Salini Impregilo S.p.A. aimed at strengthening the Italian sector of public works and construction, as a result of which, inter alia, Salini Impregilo S.p.A. will acquire a majority stake in Astaldi S.p.A., another Italian listed in the context of its arrangement with creditors (concordato preventivo).

Salini's €200 million financing, 2022
Maria Cristina advised Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. as original lender, mandated lead arranger and security agent in connection with a €200 million term credit facility to Italian construction company Salini S.p.A.
