Overview

Nathaniel Rowe is an associate in our Corporate/M&A practice, based in Tokyo. For over 15 years, he has supported Japanese and international clients on numerous M&A, private equity and finance cross-border transactions covering various industries, including energy, power, mining, infrastructure, technology, consumer products, retail, life sciences, manufacturing, telecommunications, banking, investment funds, fintech, blockchain and crypto.

His deep and diverse professional advisory experience spans marketing, management consulting and law in New York, Singapore, Sydney and Tokyo. He brings this broad-based experience and global mindset to all client engagements.

As co-chair of the Tokyo office's Global Citizenship Committee and member of the firm's Business & Human Rights Interest Group, and Energy Transition Interest Group, Nathaniel also maintains a strong professional interest in issues related to human rights, ESG and sustainability, and supports clients in connection with such matters.

Nathaniel is a former Japanese Ministry of Education scholar and Japanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs JET Program participant, and has worked in legal and commercial roles for Japanese companies and government institutions for over two decades. He works on Japan-related transactions in Japanese.
