Experience

Acting for the Sydney Transport Partners consortium (including Transurban) on their successful bid in 2018 to acquire a 51% stake in WestConnex from the NSW Government.

Acting for Singapore Power on its disposal of 60% of the Jemena group and 19.9% of AusNet Services, to State Grid of China in January 2014.

Acting for Gloucester Coal in its acquisition of Donaldson Coal and the later merger with Yancoal Australia in 2012.

Acting for Plenary Group in respect of the Melbourne Convention Centre PPP opened in 2009.

Acting for Singapore Power and a consortium comprising Singapore Power and Babcock and Brown Funds in relation to the acquisition of listed company Alinta Limited (EV $13B) in August 2007, followed by the separation of the various business units between the consortium members.

Acting for Singapore Power in restructuring of PowerNet in September 2005 and the float of AusNet Services later that year.

Acting for Singapore Power in respect of its acquisition of TXU’s Australian assets in July 2004.
