Biography
Ollie is a senior associate in the funds group in London. He advises fund managers and investors across a range of alternative asset classes, including private equity, private credit, real estate, infrastructure, impact and venture capital.
In addition to acting for managers on the formation, restructuring and on-going operation of their funds, Ollie routinely represents funds of funds, sovereign wealth funds and major institutional investors on their global investment programmes, with a particular focus on secondaries, GP-led transactions, co-investments and complex LP matters.
Ollie's secondaries experience encompasses traditional portfolio sales, stapled secondary offerings, GP-led transactions, continuation funds, fund restructurings, preferred equity investments and other liquidity solutions.
Prior to joining White & Case in 2024, Ollie worked as an associate in the London asset management practice of another elite US law firm. He also has extensive in-house experience, and most recently, was seconded to AlpInvest/Carlyle in 2023.

- A leading California-based investment firm as the lead investor in a single-asset continuation fund managed by a Canadian sponsor; *
- AlpInvest on various primary, co-investment, secondary and GP-led transactions, including the secondary acquisition of a portfolio of private equity fund interests from a Swedish pension fund and stapled primary commitment; *
- A Dutch pension fund on the disposal of a c. $2 billion private equity portfolio to multiple secondary buyers; *
- A leading European secondaries buyer on the €500 million joint venture preferred equity acquisition of a significant minority stake in a French restaurant group; *
- A leading UK institutional investor on its primary, co-investment and secondary transactions, including the sales of two private equity portfolios of over $1 billion to multiple buyers; *
- Various European and Asian sovereign investors on their primary, co-investment and secondaries programmes, including SMA/fund-of-one arrangements; *
- HarbourVest as a syndicate investor in a multi-asset continuation fund managed by a US sponsor; *
- Partners Group on various primary and secondary investments; *
- Pantheon Ventures on numerous primary, co-investment and secondary transactions, including: *
- a series of debt secondary acquisitions and stapled secondary offerings; and
- the sale of a portfolio of over 175 private equity interests to a new continuation fund managed by Pantheon, with a single third-party investor;
- A number of leading sponsors, including Columbia Threadneedle, Infracapital Partners, Timberland Investment Resources and Ironwood Capital on fund formation and restructuring transactions; and *
