Overview

Peter is a partner in the Firm's Global Debt Finance practice.

Peter advises sponsors, corporates, banks and other non-bank financial institutions and alternative capital providers on a variety of finance transactions including leveraged, investment-grade and real estate financings, refinancings and restructurings, with particular experience in acquisition financing using European and New York-style term loan B, bank/bond and direct lending/unitranche structures.

Experience

Peter's experience includes advising the following:

Blackstone Credit, Sixth Street, Park Square Capital, SMBC and the other term financiers on CVC Capital Partners' acquisition of a majority interest in Sogelink Group, a leading European provider of software solutions for infrastructure, construction and property management professionals.

CVC Capital Partners on the term loan B financing to support its acquisition of Stark Group*;

CVC Capital Partners on the unitranche financing to support its acquisition of twoday (as a carve out from Visma Group)*;

Warburg Pincus on the holdco financing to support its investment in Inspired Education*;

Cinven on the bank/bond financing to support its acquisition of Arcaplanet and MaxiZoo Italy*;

the ad hoc committee of senior creditors in relation to the financial restructuring of Takko Fashion*;

PCP Capital Partners on its consortium acquisition of Newcastle United Football Club*; and

Permira and its portfolio company Dr. Martens on the financing to support the IPO of Dr. Martens on the London Stock Exchange*.
