Biography

Reem AlBakr is a corporate associate at White & Case in Riyadh. She regularly advises on corporate transactions and commercial contracts including acquisitions, joint ventures, restructuring and divestitures. Reem also has experience advising on antitrust matters and inbound foreign direct investment.

Reem was previously seconded to the Dubai office in 2019-2020.

Representation of CONFIDENTIAL on a strategic equity investment in the real estate/construction sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Representation of Saudi Aramco on its acquisition of a 70 percent equity interest in Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) from PIF, the sovereign wealth fund of the Kingdom, for a purchase price of SAR 259.125 billion (US$ 69.1 billion).
