Robert Becker is an associate in the Milan office. His practice focuses on securities, primarily in the debt and equity capital markets, assisting with United States and New York law issues for Italian-based transactions. Robert assists corporate issuers, underwriters and initial purchasers in connection with secured and unsecured debt offerings, including high yield debt and straight private placements pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S. Robert also works on equity offerings, particularly IPOs, both with issuers and underwriters involved in such transactions. Prior to joining White & Case in 2014, Robert practiced in the New York and Milan offices of other international law firms.

Banca IMI, Bank of America Securities and UniCredit Corporate & Investment Banking, as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners, in connection with the initial public offering of Sanlorenzo S.p.A. on the STAR segment of the Milan Stock Exchange.

Intesa Sanpaolo S.p.A. in connection with a USD2 billion issuance of Yankee bonds under its recently updated USD50 billion Medium Term Note Programme. The issuance consists of USD750 million 3.250% senior notes due 2024, USD750 million 4.000% senior notes due 2029 and USD500 million 4.700% senior notes due 2049, issued pursuant to Rule 144A under the U.S. Securities Act.

International Game Technology PLC in connection with its issuance of €500 million 2.375% Senior Secured Notes due 2028. The notes have been offered and sold pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act and listed on the Official List of Euronext Dublin.

I.M.A. Industria Macchine Automatiche and GIMA TT in connection with the merger by incorporation of GIMA TT in its parent company I.M.A.  Industria Macchine Automatiche.

BNP Paribas and UniCredit Bank, as Joint Global Coordinators and Joint Bookrunners, and Crédit Agricole CIB, as Joint Bookrunner, in connection with the issuance of €470 million floating rate senior secured notes due 2026 by Diocle S.p.A. to finance its acquisition of DOC Generici.

Adler Pelzer Holding GmbH in connection with the 2018 consent solicitation regarding the outstanding €350,000,000 4.125% Senior Secured Notes due 2024.

Piaggio & C. S.p.A. in connection with the issuance of a new €250 million high yield bond, 3.625% percent Senior Notes due 2025, and in connection with the related exchange offer to refinance its outstanding 4.625% Senior Notes due 2021. The New Notes have been listed on the Luxembourg Stock Exchange and offered and sold pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S under the Securities Act.

Gamenet Group S.p.A. in connection with its initial public offering on the Milan Stock Exchange – STAR Segment, in which 35 percent of the company’s ordinary shares were sold for a total amount of approximately €72 million.

De'Longhi S.p.A. in connection with the establishment of a US$300 million equivalent shelf programme and its €150 million 1.65% Senior Notes due 2027. The notes were sold through a Private Placement to US institutional investors.

Guggenheim Securities LLC, Trout Capital LLC and Baader Bank Aktiengesellschaft as Placement Agents in connection with the issuance by Medigene AG of 1,964,599 shares listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange for gross proceeds of €20.7 million.
