Biography
Overview
Verity is an associate in the London office's Real Estate practice, with broad experience across sectors, jurisdictions and asset classes. Verity advises on commercial real estate-focused transactions, including landlord and tenant work, real estate portfolio management work, real estate investment acquisitions and disposals, and the property aspects of corporate and private equity transactions and cross-border transactions. Verity acts for real estate investment companies, private equity funds, banks, occupiers and other stakeholders in relation to a broad spectrum of asset classes.
Verity also has experience advising data centre service providers in relation to their leasing requirements for this developing and highly specialised asset class.
Before joining White & Case, Verity was an associate in the real estate team of a leading UK and international law firm.
Experience
A consortium composed of Brookfield Infrastructure and its institutional partners and GIC in the US$8.4 billion acquisition of Genesee & Wyoming Inc.
SPIE in the sale of SPIE UK's mobile maintenance activities to the investment company Rcapital Partners LLP.
A Germany-based portfolio company owned by a private equity group in the acquisition of a British ophthalmic surgery business for approx. £300 million.
Bright Scholar Education Holdings in its £150 million acquisition of CATS Colleges, an international school network with a platform of campuses located across the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada and China.
An international multi-sector business group, which is owned by a UAE-based family office, in relation to its acquisition of prime restaurant premises in the heart of London.
Digital Realty Trust, one of the world's largest data centre developers, in the lettings and management of its data centres in the UK.
