Helping top-performers attain and succeed in leadership roles


One of our goals is to retain and advance top-performing women, while helping them attain and succeed in leadership roles.

The Global Women's Initiative, aims to achieve a meaningful increase in the percentage of women in partnership and leadership roles. This is supported by the grassroots activities of our local Women's Networks—which provide talent management and facilitate women supporting each other. 

We also run, a Sponsorship Program for Women on potential track for partnership, Executive Coaching and programs to support women in business development and preparing for leadership roles.

Raising the next generation of women leaders 

Members of our Global Women’s Initiative Committee monitor the progress of our women, provide mentoring and train future women leaders. 

We pair women at critical phases of their career development with partner sponsors to ensure they receive opportunities and experience so they can advance to positions of leadership within the Firm and the broader legal profession.




White & Case Honored with Nine Women in Business Law Awards EMEA

At Legal Media Group's Women in Business Law Awards 2022 EMEA presented on June 23, White & Case was named United Kingdom Firm of the Year, France Firm of the Year, and Central Europe Firm of the Year and in addition received three firm awards.


The Deal Names White & Case Partners “Top Women in Dealmaking”

Business intelligence service The Deal has named White & Case partners Denise A. Cerasani (New York), Germaine Nicole Gurr (New York) and Tali Sealman (Silicon Valley) among its "Top Women in Dealmaking" honorees for work performed in 2021. All three are partners in the White & Case Global Mergers & Acquisitions practice.

Law.com describes the 25 women under 40 years old on its list as "Continental Europe's 25 future female leaders in law."

Law360 Names Nicolle Kownacki and Kelly Newman “Rising Stars of 2022”

From more than 1350 nominees, Law360 named White & Case lawyers Nicolle Kownacki (Counsel, Washington, DC) and Kelly Newman (Associate, Boston) among its "Rising Stars" for 2022. Law360 selects Rising Stars from among practicing lawyers under 40 years old, based on its evaluation of the lawyers' career accomplishments in their respective practice areas.
