Our sustainable operations
At White & Case LLP, we are continually evolving our approach to sustainability. Our values – Pioneering, United, Human – guide the behaviors and actions that enable us to deliver on the promises we make to our clients and our people. Leaders across the Firm are working to better understand our environmental and societal impact, identify the risks and opportunities we face and align our efforts with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Our Environmental Sustainability Team and Reporting & Policy Team, which are part of our Responsible Business Committee, lead ESG and sustainability efforts across our operations. These teams include senior stakeholders, such as our General Counsel, partners, associates and Business Services professionals from different locations and business functions.
Sustainability Report
Our annual sustainability report provides an overview of our efforts, covering advice to clients, environmental sustainability - including our Science Based Target, our social impact, pro bono work, disclosures and external engagement.
UN Global Compact
As a signatory to the UN Global Compact, the world's largest voluntary corporate sustainability initiative, White & Case is committed to doing business responsibly by aligning our operations with ten principles related to human rights, labor, the environment and anti-corruption. We are also a signatory to the UN Global Compact's "Statement from Business Leaders for Renewed Global Cooperation."
