White & Case Global Litigation Practice Co-Chair Jonathan Polkes was recognized as one of Bloomberg Law's 2026 Unrivaled Honorees, which celebrates 25 leading trial lawyers who secured multiple high-stakes verdicts and favorable settlements. The feature spotlights standout practitioners across antitrust, consumer protection, intellectual property, securities, shareholder actions and other complex matters.

In Jonathan's individual feature, the publication highlights him as a leading trial practitioner with back-to-back wins that illustrate his track record in high-stakes matters: a US$406.8 million antitrust jury verdict for Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in its case against Amgen Inc. in Delaware federal court, and a complete defense victory for Warner Bros. Discovery and its senior executives in the widely watched federal securities class action arising from its US$43 billion WarnerMedia–Discovery merger. Together, these outcomes underscore Jonathan's undisputed role as first-chair trial counsel in "bet-the-company" litigation that is critical to clients' businesses and reputations.

In discussing his broader trial philosophy, Jonathan emphasized that credibility and storytelling are central to winning over juries and judges. He cautioned that many lawyers try to present their case like a live version of a summary judgment brief, and underscored the importance of boiling complex issues down to what matters to people and why the jury should want you to win.
