White & Case partners Carlos Viana and Rodrigo Dominguez spoke with Infralogic about the outlook for infrastructure investment in Latin America in 2026.

Carlos noted that Brazil, Chile and Peru are likely to drive public-private partnership activity in 2026, with Brazil maintaining "the most dynamic pipeline."

As private credit benefits from "constrained bank balance sheets, elevated rates and borrowers' preference for flexible, bespoke financing" in the region, Rodrigo explained that "direct lending, structured credit, asset-backed facilities and infrastructure debt are expanding rapidly."
