Global law firm White & Case LLP is continuing to expand its Global Investment Funds Practice and Global Private Capital Industry Group with the addition of Timothy Clark as a partner in New York.

"Private capital is transforming the international investment landscape, creating demand for advisers who can help clients navigate increasingly sophisticated fund structures, transactions and regulatory considerations," said White & Case Chair Heather McDevitt. "Timothy's arrival reflects our continued investment in this strategic area of growth and further strengthens our ability to deliver the integrated, cross-border advice our clients rely on."

With more than three decades of investment funds experience, Timothy advises private equity, credit and sovereign wealth clients on fund formation, investment advisor mergers and acquisitions, private fund investments and secondary transactions. He brings deep knowledge of evolving financial regulations, including the Investment Company Act and the Investment Advisers Act. Timothy joins White & Case from Mayer Brown, where he was the Global Head of Private Funds & Investment Management.

"The most effective private capital advisers combine technical excellence with a deep understanding of clients' commercial objectives," said White & Case Global Co-Head of Private Capital, Emily Brown. "Timothy brings that combination of experience, further strengthening the advice we provide across the full private capital lifecycle."

Timothy's arrival advances the continued growth of White & Case's Private Capital capabilities following a series of strategic lateral partner additions across key financial centers globally, including Oreste Cipolla (New York); David Adams (Washington, DC); Helen Croke, Chris Jeanes, Laura Kayani and Nick Matthew (all in London); Josh Teahen (Houston); Oskar Andrews (Stockholm); Romain Guenin, Antoine Mercier, Sarah Fleury and Cyril Valentin (all in Paris); and Ed Sheremeta (Tokyo).
