Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised the second flagship Basalt Fund on its sale of North Star to global private markets firm Partners Group.

"Our relationship with Basalt continues to go from strength to strength," said White & Case partner Sandra Rafferty, who led the Firm`s deal team. "Having advised the Basalt Fund when it originally acquired North Star and now advising on its exit, we have supported the full life cycle of the Basalt Fund's investment in North Star."

North Star is also the leading UK provider of SOVs, which are used to transport technicians to offshore windfarms and accommodate them for extended periods of time.

The White & Case team in London which advised on the transaction was led by partner Sandra Rafferty, with support from associates Mahir Maini and Josephine Levick.
