Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Summa Equity Fund III (Summa Equity) as lead investor on the US$100 million Series C funding round of Tibber, a smart energy retailer.
Headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, Summa Equity is an investment firm focused on companies that address global challenges in the fields of resource efficiency, changing demographics and tech-enabled business.
Founded in 2016, Tibber is the first fully digital energy company in the world. It has more than 180 employees at offices in Stockholm, Førde, Berlin, Amsterdam, and Helsinki and more than 300,000 customers. With hundreds of thousands controllable and smart devices connected to the Tibber platform, such as electric vehicles and smart thermostats, Tibber has one of the most unique and flexible energy consumption portfolios in the market.
