Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Texas LNG with respect to its pipeline transportation precedent agreement and transportation service agreements with Enbridge Inc. for the expansion of the Valley Crossing Pipeline (VCP) to deliver approximately 720 million cubic feet per day of natural gas to Texas LNG for a term of at least 20 years.

VCP consists of a 160-mile 42- and 48-inch-diameter pipeline originating at Agua Dulce, a major Texas gas hub, and extending to the Port of Brownsville. A ten-mile lateral will be built to extend the pipeline to Texas LNG’s facility, along with the addition of compression facilities on the existing pipeline.

The Texas LNG export facility will be constructed on a 625-acre site strategically located on the Port of Brownsville’s deepwater ship channel in South Texas. The FERC- and DOE-permitted facility will enable the export of 4 MTPA of LNG to established and emerging markets worldwide.

The White & Case team was led by Houston partner Christopher Richardson with support from Miami partner Sean Goldstein and Houston associate Jack Moxon.
